About Me

My photo
Study Island & PLATO = Edmentum - Kentucky
I've been helping teachers teach since presenting my first workshop back in the 80's. I presented workshops on biology, anatomy & physiology, and biotechnology even while teaching. After retiring from teaching science in Hopkins County in ‘99, I helped head up the AP Biology and Biotechnology departments at Carolina Biological and Ward's Natural Science. I presented AP Biology, biotechnology and forensics workshops with both science companies and helped develop many new products and teaching kits. Study Island had me open up NY as a territory then, due to our amazing growth, informed me that Kentucky was going to be a new territory and offered it to me. We jumped at the opportunity to come home to Kentucky and settled in Lexington where 2 of our 3 sons and 3 of our 4 granddaughters live. Study Island has been received with tremendous enthusiasm all over Kentucky and I get to travel all over the state visiting educators and getting to see all kinds of schools and students. I love being able to show teachers how to help their students by using Study Island! Give me a call and I'll stop by your school.
